Signal strength and signal quality using a quad

I recently installed a quad LMB on a 60cm dish.

Prior to installation I was using a sinle LMB. My "signal strength" and "signal quality" were both at approx. 80%.

Having installed the quad I am getting the following.

On Panasonic TU-DSB30 I am now getting only 50% on both the "signal quality" and "signal strength" .

On a Panasonic TU-DSB40 I am getting only 45% on "signal strength" and 80% on "signal quality".

Do I need to have the dish realligned after attaching the quad?

No this is normal, just keep an eye out for picture breakup in rain.

Would an 80cm dish sort out the problem.

it would but you would have to change to a non sky quad lnb, I would not worry as long as picture quality is good

Thanks Tony but how do you explain the loss in strength and quality on the TU-DSB30
