Read Speaker for the Dead, Genocide and Children of the Mind too.

They are all v.good, but nothing touchs the first which is classic.

    "Xenocide", Tom! smile.gif

I was disappointed in the last one, he let himself down a little I believe.

Thats Enders Shadow methinks. About Bean. I heard rumours that it's excellent but haven't read it myself. Someone here has I think...

Enders Shadow is as good as Enders Game, read it.
I don't think there's a weak book in the whole series, they're all brilliant - unless you judge them against each other. Children of the mind may wane compared to the 1st three but it's still an excellent piece of writing.

The series definitly went slowly down hill after Ender Game. Anyone read the latest one set in battle school?

yeah I finished speaker for the dead yetersday, pity it just doesn't compare to the 1st frown.gif , still the idea of being 3000 years old is a good one, one thing that annoyed me was that "Jane" left Ender for ya other dude mirco or something

Just finished 'Ender's Shadow'. Very good read & gives a different viewpoint, bean's, from that of 'Ender's Game'. There seems a lot of loose ends unresolved at the end of the book so methinks there should be a sequel.
