Memory question for a toshiba laptop

im looking to upgrade the memory for my toshiba laptop.I currently have 256 mb and want to get a 512 mb stick.I have a Equium A60-692 P4 518 laptop(2.8 ghz intel chip).Is memory more expensive with laptops? I have tried that site shopformemory.ie and found some cheapish enough memory but not sure if it will do for my…
