I'm looking at visiting Dublin in the future and was wondering what the more youth-oriented/college-aged churches were in the area? Also are there any good Christian bands or is there a Christian alternative scene in Ireland? Many thanks.

Which part of Dublin are you going to? It's a big place and there are dozens of churches.

Check out the sticky thread here on churches. In the city centre, Core and St. Marks may fit the kind of church you're looking for.

Having said that, I'm a big fan of simply going to your local church and being able to reach out to your community from there...;)

But that's just me being cheeky.

    Buellershow,
There's a good student/youth ministry at His People Christian Church in Dublin. It might interest you.
Check the church sticky, I just added it to the list.

    :)

The Jesuits run a few youth based churches/meeting places.
