this is my first attempt so go easy




His hand trembled, wavering back and forth escaping his control. His fate hung on these tiny indiscernible movements. The hand shifted again, the strain was beginning to show on his face, he had longed for this moment and yet, he has feared it above all else.

He raced through his future, trying to discover what he should do, but all the futures he saw put fear in him.

It was time, he closed his eyes slowly and took a short breath, defeating his fear for a brief moment several hundred neurons fired in his brain. The index finger on his right hand slowly extended, then it paused, hanging in space until gravity cruelly brought it crashing back to earth.

‘Click’

A kaleidoscope of feelings rushed thought his body, joy, fear, elation, depression making his skin tingle, making him feel alive.
Slowly his eyes opened, his iris’s retracting sharply from the pale blue light, then focused on what lay before him, it was a message.
