bittorret on yellow

    atm my bittorret is at yellow how do i make it green my ipconfig is

    ip address 192.168.2.33
    default gateway 192.168.2.1
    subnet mask 255.255.255.0

    any1 know what i need to do to turn it green would be a lot of help

    You need to forward ports from your router to the local PC that's doing all the BT stuffage.

    There's been about twelvety posts about this in the last bog knows how long. They may be searched.

    The ports could either be 6881 to 6999 or 10000 to 60000, so check with your BT application which ones it uses.

    afaik its the other way around..(or can be done the other way round..)
    and it depends on what kind of router/modem you have?
    what kind of router/modem do you have??

    well im using ntl cable with a belkin router can i still use the same process as u have noted for eircom?

    Also, should the IP address you specify in the advanced prefs not be your external ip address?

    In the case of the Eircom, you have to route to your internal IP.
