bluetooth dongle problem

I have a bluetooth adapter its a wavelinker one,when i plug it in the green light comes up in the adap but win xp doesnt detect it

Have you updated with the latest Service Pack? I know the latest one definitely has support for Bluetooth and will auto detect it. Although I prefered the old interface than the new one in the system tray.
