Sorry if this is against rules, but there is a torrent for it on filerush.com.

I think its safe to say that we've seen all the best bits now...

But none the less, I'm not very happy with some of the sequences in it... They should have been saved for the movie. I'm hopeful that its going to be great, but I have to say I have my suspicions after what I've seen..

    Some people are never happy.

Well, if they feel the need to show the fans what they've waited all this time for in the trailer rather than just build up to it, it hardly speaks volumes for the rest of the film, does it?

Unless of course, they're still hiding something, but this being a prequel, there can't be much that wasn't already revealed in the original trilogy.

Don't you think you're being a little.. uh.. melodramatic? I'm no expert, but I'm fairly sure it's hard to actually "spoil" things by showing people brief (average of less than 1 second!) cuts from the movie. The actual story and context behind these images is what we go to see the movie for, not the images themselves.

I mean, it's called a "teaser", and that's exactly what it did.. gave people a teasing glimpse into what's in store in Episode III. It didn't "spoil" anything.

What exactly are you moaning about ? What was spoiled in the trailer ? half of it was footage we have already seen and the other have was tiny clips of action..thats about it.

Hey, the trailer is now showing in the cinema! It was attached to Hero in UGC last night. Looks a lot better on the big screen...

cool trailer. hadnt seen anything about episode 3 before. Good to see lots of wookies! hopefully with this being a darker tale it wont be so aimed at children as the last 2.

    [edit]
I tried playing that clip Rew posted a link to but it wont play and both wmp9 and the new Realplayer both show an error when tryiing to download a codec for it. what codec do i need?

Is it just me, or does some of the CG in that trailer look like it'd be more at home in a video game cut-scene?
I'd prefer the braveheart approach where they actually dress a few hundred extras up ;)

I thought that myself. But hey, bad cgi in a Star Wars prequel isn't really a new thang.

    Frankly, kerrrsshh.

I hate it when director's introduce continuity into prequels. Anyone who didn't cringe during "One day I will be that powerful, one day I'll be the strongest Jedi ever, I'll be invincible, unkillable" speech in Attack Of The Clones is made of sterner stuff than I. And so far, this seems to have the potential for the same kind of forehead-furrowing blatantness. Someone even told me that the leader of the Wookie's you can see in the trailer is Chewbacca's father. Lies, perhaps, but just the kind of thing that Lucas evidently likes to fill his prequel's with.

As I've been saying since the phantom menace, I'm just waiting for the line "You're a good Moff, Tarkin, but you're not a grand Moff".

    ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!

That's it. That's the last straw. Quick, someone get the cat o' nine tails. I've got some business to attend to with Mr. Lucas.

    its actually Chewbacca himself.

Wot's wookie for "Y'know I actually met your Da"

Cause if anyone tells me I'm going to re watch Episodes IV-VI and see if it crops up in any scene with Leia and Chewbacca

cause y'know george I'm thinking IT MIGHT HAVE CROPPED UP IN THE CONVERSATION

It's the C-3P0 thing all over again, I've been assuming that they get their memory wiped during part three otherwise you've got a plot hole the size of a death star in that the likelyhood of 3P0 not uttering the words "Skywalker you say, why myself and R2 were owned by a young master skywalker from around here a few years ago" at all during parts IV to VI is just absurd.
