GTR released in Germany [read on for good news for English speakers]

    Yep its released but only in Germany and in German BUT all is not lost.
    Ive ordered from a German site which when you click on UK flag will translate to English for you.
    I ordered mine with the thought that ill get the English version when released but that wont be till March 2005 ,ive been waiting so long i had get this German version and struggle through menus.
    But unsurprising to me the guys over at RSC have already early versions of edited files within GTR that change the menus to English :)

    Let us know when its shipped and when you receive it, if the translation mod is reasonable i'll probably order the german version too.

    Ok it was shipped on Thursday last the 4th.
    Some guys over at RSC got theirs today in US and UK [shipped same day as mine].
    On the translation mod ,all seems to be well for those who have applied it to GTR.
    Also it is compatible with recently released patch.
    From what i have gathered on RSC iafter the translation patch its more or less an English game now except for the Pit-chat and of course the manual.
    Fingers crossed i get mine tomorrow as i have a day off and it would be sweet to get it in the morning.
    Ill post here if i do indeed get it :)

    More good news, the GTR manual in English is available from the RSC forum in PDF format. Looks like we're basically good to go.
