If you want to access your email through Outlook or some othe remail program rather than a browser, get an eircom account:

    http://autoreg.eircom.net/

Whomever provides your broadband (Eircom, IOL, UTV, etc.) will be able to provide you with an appropriate email address. Details can be found on www.iol.ie, www.eircom.net and so on.
