Mutimedia card problem

I'm having a problem with a mutimedia card,it works with my mobiles 6230 but when i put it into my laptop its not working or when i put it into a camera it comes up card error?

I have the same phone, the card works fine when put into the card reader on my PC. But doesn't work when put into camera. Are you sure the card reader you have is not just a SD card only reader. I've seen them around, Normally the reader will take SD and MMC but I've seen a few, i.e. Toshiba laptops that won't accept MMC. As for not working in the camera, I'm sure it's a formatting thing.

got it working all you have to do is del the password on it
