Always in a tournament when a player is all in you put your cards on their backs before dealing the turn/river. Is there a different rule in cash games, I noticed that this never happened in the one in the Fitz.

In a tourney once all the chips are in the general procedure is to turn them on their backs before any more cards are dealt. This isn't the case in a cash game as you can reserve the right to show your cards. Dont know exactly why this is, it's just the case.

And the ettiquette is that if you have a monster (or have just hit your card) they will generally throw out the two cards from 4 in Omaha (or their hand in Holdem) to avoid slow-rolling you (slowly recealing a monster hand you know is winning in order to lengthen the time the loser has to wait to see that they have lost...)

So its considered bad ettiquette to wait for your opponent to show their cards even though its their turn to do so if you hold the nuts?
Are people really expected to adhere to this in a high stakes game where everyone is trying to get every little bit of helpful information they can?
