MAME32 screen resolution

    Hi is there any possible way to change the screen size when playine ROMs through the MAME emulator as its very small on the screen of my laptop.

    Go to options and change to whatever, it defaults to the roms actual res but you can change it easily.

    Shoujld play them tru Tv out onto a TV , get that lovely arcade glare of tvs only :)

    I think it might be the problem that your laptop won't resize lower resolutions like 640x480 and whatnot (LCD displays only have one native resolution, so smaller resolutions running on that monitor have to be stretched or just shown really small). If you have a decent enough laptop (P4/AthlonXP with 16MB+ graphics), in MAME, go to default options, turn on "Direct3D" and turn off all the filters for that, and change the resolution on the "display"(?) settings to the native one of your display - probably 1024x768.
