Working in Warrington

Hi I am currently working in Solihull(Birmingham). I will be moving to warrington with the same company and it looks as though I will be working there for at least 3 months.

From what I've heard from lads/lassies at work Warrington is not supposed to be the nicest town/area in the world. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on areas nearby that are nice to live in. I was thinking about areas between Manchester and Warrington(Would be nice for Prem Games as a bonus)

If your workplace is near Warrington central station I would suggest you get an apartment in central Manchester. There is a half hourly express train that takes about 20 minutes. I would much rather live in the centre of Manchester than anywhere else in the region.

I don't know much about Warrington but it wouldn't surprise me to find it a sh1thole, most of the large towns in the north of England are pretty miserable, stick to the big cities if possible.
