Cheap CD & DVDs

I don't think this website has been mentioned before here. I did a search and couldn't find it anyway.

www.blahdvd.com

They sell CDs and DVDs, and a lot of their prices are cheaper than both CD Wow and Play. Pay in GBP and not Euro though - they tend to round up a lot.

I have used them a few times and have no complaints about the delivery - takes as long as Play.com do.

I would definitely recommend them. Anyone else have any experience with the site?

I have used them for a recent promotion of £17.99 for the Lion King Trilogy. They have some discount vouchers for creating an account

Password/ login doesn't seem to work. To be honest though, the site looks dodgy to me. I'm not too interested in buying Chinese Warez - would rather get the real thing. But whatever rocks your boat - I'm sure there are plenty of people who would have no qualms about using the site!

There was a discussion board (can't remember where) about this site and it had to close down for a while due to the huge demand for all around Europe.
Also the cost of shipping was very expensive when I looked at it some months ago. Remember it doesn't accept Credit Cards so if you pay cash, you have no come back if you don't get your DVD's.
I suppose "pays your money and takes your chances".

that site seems quite expensive.

Troy is 26 euro

Shrek 2 is 24 euro.

A lot of the new release CD's are 16 - 18 euro.

Think i will stick with the Norwegian CD-WOW site.... its 12.50 euro for a new CD there.

Didn't know there was a Norwegian CD-Wow - what's the URL? Google doesn't throw anything up.

The prices above are what you get if you choose € as the currency - they are slightly cheaper if you select £ - Troy €23.15, Shrek € 21.70

But these are cheaper elsewhere. However, there are a lot of offers on Blah DVD if you look around the Promotions section.

Whenever I buy a CD or DVD I have a list of sites I try and order off the cheapest one - the last few times it has happened to be this one...

For the Vietnam online store the sign is Media and the password is DVD111 which brings up the DVD111 website. Of course they are all pirate DVDs and software- surprise surprise coming from Vietnam. I have never used the site but I know a few people that did and they received the DVDs.
HOWEVER- that was a few months ago and from what I hear Customs is catching a lot of these shipments now so it would be a gamble on receiving them.

Link for CD Wow-Norway site is http://www5.cd-wow.fm/ .

Minimum order of 10 discs at 1.99+.99 shipping per disc
so minimum payment of 29.80 USD (approx 23.65 Euro).
You pay cash and wait 3/4 weeks.
They don't arrive and you send them an e-mail.
"Oh your customs must have confiscated them, sorry but there's nothing we can do. You could try it again and see if the second order gets through and that's another 29.80 USD!".
Who do you complain to about your pirated DVD's that you never received?

How did you pay for your cd's?
I bought 2 DVD's off Splash, received one but they went bust before I received the 2nd one. I paid by CC and wrote to the Credit Card Company and got a refund for the one I didn't receive.

I would always use a credit card for online purchasing. Debit cards mean the money comes straight out of your back account.
