    undefinedundefinedundefined

    have medion desktop
    from ALDI
great machine but when i load a copied dvd and or have 2-4 applications running, sometimes the mouse freezes with no other option but to power down at back of pc!
I hate doing this as i know it is harmful to the pc but i have no other option.
I ran a check and it stated that there could be something amiss with the ACTIVE X?
anybody know what could be the problem?

Sounds more like a problem with the DVDs to be honest. Maybe your drive can't handle whichever type of recordable they are +r, -r, +rw, -rw etc. It's also possible you don't have the right codecs for playing whatever the video has been encoded as but that's less likely, can you play retail DVDs ok ?

It's probably the DVD's so, unless you're making them yourself it may be a format problem, there's a program here called discinfo that tells you the various details of your drive, as far as i remember it tells you if it can read +r, -r etc, you may want to check you drive is compatible with the type of disc you're using. You may also want to try a firmware upgrade if they have one to match your drive but read the warnings well.
