From the CD that came free with yesterdays Sunday Times, sponsored by Xtra-Vision.

Print out the form from the link below (you had to insert the CD & see the Xtra-Vision logo before you could do it on the CD), fill in the details and send it to the following address:

Song For A Raggy Boy Offer
    Xtra-Vision Support Office
    Greenhills Park
    Greenhills Road
    Tallaght
    Dublin 24

Apparently you'll be sent the DVD within 28 days. ;) (if you do get it post back here and let everyone know)

Just a thought: if some other movie had won the award would that have been the one given away....?

If a mod could see their way to attaching the PDF to this thread (file is too big for upload - 150.2K) I'd be grateful as the geocities cap will probably kick in fairly quickly

[EDIT]Forgot to mention that forms have to be in before last post, November 30th 2004[/EDIT]

They filmed some of it in my town (Macroom). Never saw it though, maybe the only person who hasn't :)
Strange little side note, the chest of draws in my room came out of the school it was filmed in. Dunno how the **** the mother knows that...

Do you send away the form in a normal sized envelope?
Do you have to send stamps inside the envelope as well?(for them to send you back the DVD)

(you had to insert the CD & see the Xtra-Vision logo before you could do it on the CD)
    What does that mean?

    Thanks

I know, we'll have to wait and see what comes in the post..... I never got the ones from Play.com/The Sun but others have posted that they did...

Yup. I just printed off the form, filled it out and sent it off. There was no mention of sending another envelope or stamps/money for them to send it back.

I remember reading somewhere once before that only about 5% of people who actually see the ad will reply to it so there is a very small number who will actually look for the DVD (except for those who read the boards of course ;) )

Its to make you watch the "ad" - in Xtra Visions case it was just the logo, but some other sponsers of The Month CD go to great lengths to create a flashy ad you have to watch - I remember Ford had one a couple of months back that was about a minute long - you had to watch it before you could access the content on the disc!

I rented it out when it came out first and thought it was excellent, but thats just my opinion :)

Cheers Spock! Sent off for that :)

    I'll send off also :)

The film is very good, can be disturbing - similar to telling the story of The Magdalene Sisters - this time its to do with church run schools for child offenders.
