Typhoon 8in1 cardreader problems

Bought a Typhoon 8in1 cardreader last year used it on smart media cards no problems, but nowam trying to use 128meg memorystick and a 512 memorystick pro and Nothing Have tried it on laptop running XP and Pc running win98 anyone got any ideas (Still Reads smartmedia cards so I dont think its broke and I did RTFM)
