no but I lived near there within 5 years for a while if that helps. Sh*t man, you still find yourself thinking about those times you had? carefree, young totty? the days of yore, never to be relived...

    you got it in one

I was 12 in 1984. At the end of May went on a school trip to London (5 days) coming back the day Reagan visited Ballyporeen. That was the first time I was away from home without parental supervision as such. Then 3 days after I got back I went to Ballingeary for over 3 weeks.

Had a great time there; carefree, snogging at the Ceilis; no worries.
Would love to be that age again.

Often wonder what happened to the people I met in Ballingeary. What way their lives turned out...

Went there in 2001 when I was 14. Happy days. Met this Cork girl called Sorcha, she was a laugh. Three weeks of fun.
