    Hi,

I've a startup file here that I need to run somethings for work. Windows has turned it into a .txt file, its not meant to be that. Its not meant to have a file extention!

Does anyone know how I can unassociate it with any programs or file extensions?

despite so many trojans over the last decade the default in windows is to Hide the extensions ..

into explorer, tools, folder options, view and untick the box for HIDE EXTENSIONS
