I highly recommend The Crimson Rivers which is on at the IFC this week, and this week only. It's directed by Mathieu Kassovitz, who directed La Haine, and it stars Jean Reno (Leon) and Vincent Cassell (La Haine).

It's basically a French murder mystery, but it's pretty intense and gripping, the photography and shot-setting is lovely, and the acting is great! You should all go and see it!!

What a damned fine movie it is. Saw it last evening. The cinematography is brilliant and the locations are beautiful. Good story overall. Didn't even notice that its in French.
