Speaker Problem

Right, my speakers keep making a crackly sort of noise. It's not constant, but it's annoying :/. I've unpluged the speakers from my soundcard and they continue to crackle, so its not a soundcard ideas. The speakers are Creative Inspire T5400, and the sound card is a Creative Audigy. Thanks.
