MIDI downmix using Cubase VST

Does anyone know how to downmix MIDI to audio using Cubase VST...

The manual states that if you have any MIDI channels that you want to downmix and include with the audio mix, you first have to downmix the MIDI to audio then import the new audio to a new channel... However it doesn't tell you how to do this.... I need help on this one...

    Thanks.

You need to record all your midi music to audio tracks (by connecting the outputs of your midi instruments to your audio inputs and recording, as with any other sound source) :)

If your MIDI sounds are internal you'll need to change your recording source to the onboard synth. You should be able to route it through the volume control settings in Windows.
