Auto complete is the thing which finishes web addresses and web searches for you for example if you were typing www.b www.boards.ie would come up.

It happens when i use yahoo search aswell it lists all the things if spelt under N for example and its really annoying me. How do I turn it off? Its mainly for the search engines because even if i delete history things come up that I searched ages ago and i just want to clear it off.Its soooooo annoying!

Tools > Internet Options > Content Tab > Autocomplete

Untick everything. Click Ok, then Ok again. :)

Edit -> Preferences -> Privacy -> Saved Form Infomation then click clear to clear all the saved for info, or you can turn it off by unchecking the box.

(Note: Windows users should replace the 'Edit -> Preferences' with 'Tools -> Options')
