i rang dell the other day might get it,,gone too lazy to put my own together.

    Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 550 with HT technology (3.4GHz, 800MHz fsb, 1MB cache)
    Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition SP2 - English
    1024MB Dual Channel DDR2 400MHz [2x512]
160GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst™ cache
256meg x800 dont know if its pro or what.
16x DVD+R/+RW and 16x DVD ,dont think theres any point in getting a cdrom or a floppy.
Creative Labs Sound Blaster® Audigy 2 (Dell), PCI w/Dolby Digital 5.1 and IEEE1394
    no moinitor speakers keyboard mouse
    price 1398

Yes, PCI Express is superior to AGP, its the latest standard. Throughput is a lot higher, and it also futureproofs your investment.
tbh- while the hw looks nice- you are paying through the teeth for something you could put together yourself for a lot less.
Also- XP Home- are you serious? ffs
