Not all postids are in the database, lots and lots of posts have been deleted over the years for various reasons so what exactly is the 2 millionth post isn't even a straightforward thing to define. What we mean here is actually having 2 million posts in the database at once. I make the current total to be roughly 1936149.

I'm planning to set up an automated script that will post such information on a monthly basis, just for the sake of tracking our growth in some rough way.
