As if rte would stump for survivors prize money when you consider the absolute dire ratings survivor got (i mean did anyone ever watch it?).
I think 50,000 is grand considering it'd be **** easy for them to get ppl to do it for free anyway.

    Anyone see this yet?
Its RTE's reality show, along the lines of Survivor.
Its actually quite good as these affairs go. Because they have a 'search for clues to win the prize' element, it avoids the awful feeling of contrivance that permeates ITV's version of survivor.

Well considering that "The Best of Tom and Jerry" (I think that was the name of it) got 5000 more viewers then RTE's production got when it was shown on TV3 on the same night, I don't think that says much for RTE, then again I haven't watched Treasure Island, I only go on the facts smile.gif

If I was on the same team as that bald lad who got busted with the magnifying glass I'd go completely apeshít. I mean it was bad enough sending them the whole way round the island for no reason... but no, then he had to go and perform the mother of all shít ups, who knows, the producers probably slipped him some porno to do it.

Riveting stuff. I think there will be war before it's over. The baldy bloke is digging himself a pretty deep grave alright.
