    Howrye folks.
Hoping ye can help me out here.
Many moons ago, an issue of Focus magazine did a spread on an amazing feat of engineering, where as an 'elevator' type thing for getting your boat/barge what have you, from ground level up to an aquaduct around 100ft+ high. It was large obviously, white, and had 2 'gondola' type vessels at opposite sides to each other ; when one was at ground level, the other way above it at the aquaduct level. When moving to the next position, the arms of the 'machine' moved in a circular motion, with these gondolas at either end.

I'm trying to source some information on this, but can't for the life of me get anything on the web. I'm pretty sure it's in 'Great Britain', most probably Scotland or Wales.

If anyone has the name of location of this machine(?) can they please point me in the right direction. Even google hasn't turned anything up for me.

    Cheers, and thanks in advance.

    K.
