    Doctor J... i work for eBay and the one thing that we ALWAYS tell customers is never EVER transfer money by western union.. There's all sorts of fraudulent $hit goin on.. use paypal or something.. i'd say you know this by now but thought i should say so anyway..

    It was nothing like fraud, because it was to a business account and was entirely traceable. At the time I didn't have a credit card so it was my only option other than posting a bank draft. I have no problem with paying by Western Union to a business account and I'd do it again, no problem, just not to the same people ;)

    Sorry if this is a tangent but I just read that horror story and I've found somebody in it was recommending Thomann.

    I had to get European Consumer Affairs to take them to their local German small claims officials to get a refund on a purchase i made... 11 months later, I'll start a thread with the story...

    TBH, signature guitars are a nice little earner. If you take away all the KH crap you could probably get a higher model LTD for the same money, you pay for the association with Santana Jr rather than what's been put into the guitar.

    ESP during the 80's and early 90's made incredible instruments. However, I believe they were taken over a few years back and hence all this mass produced LTD nonsense is everywhere. Defo try before you buy, see if that shop on Bachelors Walk has one.
