Ive no particular project in mind ATM but how can I do this, say I wanna make an animation or video of object A turning into object B, how would I go about this?

I think adobe after effects does it, and they have really good online tutorials. Check it out, in my little knowledge of special effects I think that's your best bet, I've done some funky stuff with it.

Try S_Merge

Shareware program but i think it can only be used for pictures. Havent tried it myself though but it might come in useful
