I have recently got into playing the original sonic games again via emulators and hacking into the games and changing levels and whatever so as of late have become besotted with the original 16bit Sonic games for the mega drive (genesis), so i decided to put together a little compilation video. Filesize is a bit big due to the length of the compilation movie... but i think it's worth it. Please tell me what you think.

Dude you really suck at sonic, rings everywhere... oh the humanity :p
Although you posted this on the Video forum, so I guess you're looking for something more helpful... so I'll give the heckling a rest for now :)
My only constructive criticism would be to keep the pace a bit more constant, at least as constant as the pace of the music is... there are points where the action slows down quite a bit when it doesn't feel like it should... although I think the only reason this is noticable is because, for the most part, the rest of the cuts are really well synced.
If I were you, I'd pick one level and practice speed-runs on it... like in the old days of getting 25 seconds on the GreenHill zone (or whatever)... this imo is spectacular to watch and would make a great addition to the piece :)

yeah great game, sonic 3 and sonic and knuckles were great games but i for one think sonic 2 was the best of the 16 bit sonic games. sonic 3d and sonic spinball don't beat mentioning.... even though i just did, but yoiu know what i mean. if you're interested in sonic check out www.sonicstadium.org check out the links they have there to other sites that have all the sound tracks to download, plus information about the sonic 2 beta and levels that were taken out before the final release of the game. Also other sites with sonic 2 hacks that have custom levels and even a hack that lets you play sonic 2 as shadow!!!
