People appear to be happy with about 30 TV + Radio channels for a one off price for a freeview set top box.

I wonder if it would work in Donegal ?... :)

    DMC,

Its the new terrestrial digital set top's that I am wondering about, and if they would work in Donegal.

    I saw a great one on QVCuk.com/
which had a built in 40gb recorder for STG£120.00.

It looked a great deal, and no satellite required, and no subs either.

A tad off subject for a Sat forum I know, but interesting.

Currently, I have a Sky grundig digibox and Sat dish, this gives me, as an ex-subscriber all the BBC channels + countless other interesting TV channels and as a bonus I have a massive number of the new Digital Radio channels as well, all free :) Good Eh.

    P.

BTW, I also receive UTV & CH4 & RTE TV via my ordinary terrestrial aerial anyway.

That topic has legs, Paddy, I'll split this off this thread and move it to the Terrestrial.
