I think www.mediawrite.ie are good, get them within 2 days or next day if ordered early
    postage only costs a fiver,
www.svp.co.uk (think its .co.uk) are good aswell

I second www.mediawrite.ie. Not only do their DVD's & CD's good quality, but also its cheap P&P, and speedy posting :)

Finally, they accept money transfers (which are great for us who have a bank account, but don't have a credit card).

Yeah, I noticed them myself in my local Lidl. They have a "NEW" sticker beside them, but ten euro for 5 questionable DVDR's is a bit steep, IMHO.

It depends on how many disks you want.

www.svp.co.uk are the cheapest around if you are buying in bulk, their disks are far cheaper than anywhere else but the postage to ROI is quite high.

www.pricestorm.com are not bad for price, they used to have free postage but there is a small charge now (about €2 AFAIR) they didn't drop the prices to take account of the postage charge though.

I have never used mediawrite, they seem to be more expensive than svp for all but the smallest orders.

Over €1 per disk is a rip-off these days. Especially if you do not know what brand of disk they are.

I only use SVP, just ordered 300 discs and a few other bits and the post was £11 so not too bad, they seem to have changed their postal costs as the last time I ordered in May it was £15 on 150 discs. No one else can come close to their prices for discs, or none that I've seen anyway. Checked out Mediawrite but at almost twice the price of SVP for Datawrite Grey 8x discs it just ain't worth it. I'd like to put my business towards Irish companies but it's not going to happen at twice the price.

I would go to www.ramtechnologies.ie (based in Ashbourne just 5 mins from Dublin) for if you wanted best quality media they sell Taiyo Yuden (probably best brand for CDR and DVDR media) They also sell cd printers and Sony, Mitsui Mame Fuji etc all major brands.

Komplett have cakes of 25 "Thats Write" 4x dvd-r and dvd+r for around the €9 mark. I've used these since i picked up some dirt cheap in their last sale and i have had no problems with them. They even play on my ps2

If you are impatent like me and get your dvd-rs and +rs from shops in cork then you are in luck, sound store have 25 disks for 15 euro bulkpak brand, which is good enough, they have 50 memorex disks for 40 euro, i find these disks good and they work in my xbox and dvd player. If you are lazy you can get 50 disks off komplett for 20 euro plus pp http://www.komplett.ie/k/kc.asp?bn=10216

I recently bought 250 Bulkpaq 8x DVD-Rs from www.digitalpromo.co.uk at GBP 4.75 per 25. (There wasn't any sort of bulk discount, I was just buying in bulk to save on the postage.) This was by far the best price I saw on these, well beating SVP. They arrived very quickly, too. Have burnt around 25 of them so far at 8x and all verified 100%.

I've always found bigpockets.co.uk to be very good.
They sell 50 of their own DVD+&-R for £9.99
Postage is usually very cheap and if ya want you can by blink dvd's in DVD cases for cheap too.
    Hope it helps! :D
