NTL Is Amateurish

    the only thing i watch on UTV is The Bill

    i dont know if the following is some freak occurance that only happens me but every week something happens, last week i lost UTV completely for two 5 or 6 minute spells, constant flicking between a 14:9 feed and a digibox feed. sometimes i get the occasional switch to ITV1 Wales, WTF is it with that company, it is a joke :mad: :mad: and it happens all in the space of 1 hour!!!!!!!!!!! :mad:

    anyone else having this or just me

    this is analogue btw

    Yep I was hopping mad myself! That episode was the climax to so many plot lines and NTL fvcked it up, the problems you had were exactly the same I here. Grrrrrrrrr.

    Have you contacted ntl and complained to them? I doubt anyone here can actually fix anything with your service.
    Push them for a partial refund.
    I've gotten a few partial refunds for outages because I'm quite a moan. I've written to the Chief Exec as a way to get quick responses (writing direct to customer services in Waterford was a bit of a black hole).

    I had heard before that the UTV feed to NTL in Waterford is actually supplied by chorus... ( which would explain a lot in this case )
    The quid pro quo being NTL provide it for them elsewhere.
