MS Excel 2000 headers/footers

I have an Excel 2000 workbook with c.20 individual worksheets. I am printing them out and want a customised footer to appear on each sheet. Do I have to go in and place the desired footer on each sheet or is there a way of placing them on all worksheets in one singleaction?
