cyberpunk is a roleplaying game set in the future think big guns, bionic implants being able to jack youself directly into the internet. stuff like that its lots of fun.

is it anything like shadowrun then? I havent ever played it but i imagine its something along the lines of the PC game Deus Ex?

Think of The Matrix, crossed with Bladerunner, set in an '80s style future where the internet looks like one of the original Zelda games. Lots of guns, sex, drugs, rock'n'roll, and shady corporate yuppies. And cybernetic implants enabling you to rip a man limb from limb effortlessly...
