has anyone here ever seen this film? it was written/directed by Dalton Trumbo... round the 70's I think... ah yes, 'twas 1971 (muchos thanks imdb.com)
I have read the book, seen the vid for the song "One" by metallica, and I relaly want to see this film... it looks soo good.
the book was actually, one of my favourites in a long long time, it is nothing short of brilliant...

Never read the book or seen the film but I've just done a quick search of some sites I frequent and there is a copy of this film for sale from http://www.robertsvideos.com/cart.cfm?RecordNumber=89311 its priced at $12.56 excl shipping. Just remember that the US use NTSC while we use PAL they may have PAL versions if you ask

(2)... well I don't really want to spoil the end to the book, cos I dunno how the film ended, but considering trumbo himself directed it I don';t think he would have changed it too much from the original story, I wuld recommend going to the library/bookshop and reading the book itself, it really is excellent.. I was near crying the whole way through it, was depressed all week long in school
