Strange prob with hair razors

Hi

This is a weird one. Anyway, I tend to get my hair shaved off when I am due a cut, maybe a 2 or 3 blade all over.. The problem is, my hair is actually damaging the razors. So far it has gone through 2 different razors. The first was a normal Remington one with ceramic plates. The second and most recent one I bought in Roches for 50 euro. Its a Remington razor with titanium coated blades.. My mate was cutting my hair last night and everyting was going fine until he tried to cut the hair at the top of my hair. My hair crippled the razor to an extent where is literally was removing no hair

The weird thing is, I have very soft and light hair that is looked after. Yet it seems to be bloody strong. Anyone have any experience of this?

Power City have a range trimmers with Kryptonite coated blades, they might help.

My facial hair broke a Wilkinson Sword protector with "alpha diamond coating" within 2 weeks of its first use, and diamond is meant to be one of the hardest substances on earth. IIRC, the razorblades themselves were alright, but it was just the diamond stuff that broke.

Its a very serious issue. Its really annoying trying to cut the damn stuff off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
