Smart switch & Sky+

    Hi folks,

I've to move my FTV box out of an upstairs room for a few months and I'm wondering if there would be any problem with using a smart switch (1 lnb - 2 receivers) on the second Sky+ input and connect up the FTV box to the "split" feed.

The switch takes the feed to whichever digibox is powered up so how would this impact on the Sky+ dual recording?

I don't have a problem switching on the digibox as required, the other connection on the quad lnb is in use.

    thanks in advance

you could use a quad lmb aswell and permenently have both boxes on. u just use one of the free outputs from the lmb to your ftv box
