Recommend a standalone divx player?

Can anyone recommend a good standalone divx player? Also stupid question....but is it as simple as burning a disc and slapping a divx movie on to it or do you have to make a vcd or similar type disc? How do they work? Thanks in advance Darren

I have the Liteon LVD-2001. With the latest firmware it plays everything I throw at it. Only problem is its not the best at handling subtitle files for avis (can handle srt files but I find the syncing can be a bit off).. All you have to do is burn the avi to a disc, press play.

Don't know off-hand, I bought it at a computer fair in London, that's probably of little use to you. Somewhere on the internet perhaps (just checked amazon.co.uk http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000CH89W/qid=1098281685/sr=1-15/ref=sr_1_2_15/026-9124742-0795651 seems to be discontinued).
