Anyone watch that rte programme last night, the one that had all the stories from various people about being unfaithful and running off with married men/women.
The best guy I thought was ther guy from roscommon / cavan wqho had the mobile video store and how women were always all over him, It was funny cause he was about 40 and still lived at home with mammy, a brother, and a sister.
The show was pretty useless, it was more about rte trying to be gritty!

yea very funny. Also was watching a bit of that Dinner Party yoke, had to switch rather quickly though, never seen such crap in my life. What are rte playing at ? Someone actually gets paid to come up with these programe ideas ? Should be taken outside and shot..... I haven't had the pleasure of seeing that Stew thing but i hear it is awful aswell, no surprise i guess.

Stew is really really bad, they take the most played out sketches and re do them with canned laughter! I would go as far as to avoid the show. Sometimes RTE can do a good job, but this serason they missed the plot completely!

It couldn'r be as bad as that other comedy Kilnascully or wahatever.

It was the most tasteless and insensitive piece of work i've ever seen. It started off with a person being trapped under a roller. Several people have been killed in such incidents.

It may have got some laughs but I think that there should be some standards.

    I switched off after that

Sounds like a brilliant shows, tastelessness and insensitivity are the cornerstones of any comedy!
I don't think that roller related acidents are as widespread as you like to believer!

I watched "Real Lives" last night about the infidelity and have to say it was alright. I really felt for the woman who's husband left her when she was pregnant but this sounds terrible but I couldn't help but focus on how yellow her teeth were. The aul fella with the teeth missing at the front was mad - how he gets the "wimmen" I don't know. The yoga teacher wasn't that good looking but still very sexy and from what I gather he's girlf allowed him to sleep with other women. Personally myself I've never cheated or as far as I know been cheated on and never would and don't understand why a person cheats. I would end a relationship if it wasn't working and then move on to another relationship because if you once loved the person the relationship isn't working out with surely you'd still respect them by ending it and not leading them on.

Stew is a load of crap, it seems that the unfunny comedy duo Daragh Kelly and Patrick McDonnell are involved and frankly it has their trademark all over it, i.e. lack of comedy.
I saw the both of them in what has to be the worst stand-up routine ever post Paddies Day about two years ago in "Murphys Laughter Lounge" where they did a routine pretending to be US tourists and also doing a Swedish metal band, there was not a laugh between them, very much in the same vein as stew. Pathetic.

I roffled at some guy who looked like he'd come straight out of D'unbelievables talking about his "affair" with some poor French girl.
