    Hi,

I have a laptop, it's a few years old now, but still in fully working order. It is a Samsung NV5000 series laptop. I would like if you could help me find out what type of memory I have so that I can upgrade the ram. Currently there is only one card of ram in it (there's space for 2) it consists of 198 mb (unusual size)

    Thanks!

Thanks for the effort, but my model isn't there? Mine is the NV5000, they only have the NV5700TLD and the NV5750TXC

Just be careful, I saw a few articles during my searches that gave conflicting reports of how much memory the laptop can take. And that 198 installed is a little unusual, as you say. Just double check.
