    Hi,
    Had my eye on the special offer in boost for the pansonic dvd player for 60euro, but they were all sold out
    Looking fora dvd playing that plays dvd-r, all region mp3, svcd, vcd
    any recamendations?

    Maybe it was the UK ad £299 sterling?? thats about €450.

    Ye that could be it. I was hoping that it would be one of those offers where you have to do a certain amount of shopping to get the offer.

    /me rings friends and family and says sorry for shouting down the phone at them at half past midnight, telling them all to do there shopping in Dunnes

    That amazon one doens't have great reviews at all.. people posting about they had problems etc.
    that dunnes stores on, I see it has "vcd/wma" would that include svcd, yea?
    and is that only on on tomorrow or does it start tomorrow for a few days?

    The black diamond one Powercity have for €60-70 is pretty good, got one for my father a while back. It plays everything you are looking for mp3, s/vcd +-r/rw.

    Whare are you getting your reviews from? 285 people have reviewed it on Amazon giving an average score of 4.5 out of 5. I would have said that is an impressive figure for a DVD player of that priceband

    hmm, i see its a portable dvd player..
    is this one of those things with a screen on it were yea can watch dvd's on plane/train?
    I was after a dvd player for the living room..

    yeah I'd like to know that myself, my sis needs a dvd player for xmas.... but she expects a lot of *cough* svcd films from me

    Never heard of that make/model where you pick it up and what what price?
    rememer you sayin you had a dvd player that plays divx, so you just copy the avi/mpeg directly to a dvd disk and it plays them?

    yeah but i cheap i copy them to CDs and play them , can get 5 or 6 movies onto one dvd.
    Its a philips DVP630 100 in Dixons Currys and 120 in argos.

    There a post below this one with people raving about it , i bought from info i got in that topic. Its handy for burning porn straight to disc :)

    100 in currys have it ins tock in town but not in liffey valley (didnt 2 weeks ago anyway) argos its 120 , www.dwyers.ie 100

    just got the dv player there
    dixions charing 30euro for a ****ing gold plated scart lead, just got it in case
    thye only cost a few euro, gona get a lend of one off a mate and bring it back tomorrow
