I've a Canon EOS 300 SLR with the standard 28-70mm lens, I've also got a Sigma 70-300mm lens. I'm thinking of upgrading to the EOS 300D. Now according to the manufacturers description on amazon.co.uk with the digital version
You can use all Canon EF and EF-S lenses

How do I find out if my existing lenses will work with 300D? I know I can go into a shop and ask but I'd rather do the research and learn something new.

<Additional/> Okay, a quick read of http://www.photoethnography.com/ has answered my question, my lenses will work with the camera. EF refers to the lens mount on the body of the camera.

All Canon lenses are compatible with the 300D - They all use the EF mount (The EF-S however isnt compatible with any other canon cameras except the 300d). I have a EOS300 film SLR as well, and all my EF glass works fine on my 10D. You wont have a problem with the sigma either.
No one will mind you trying out your lenses on a 300d either.
