Having a bit of a problem with my new Western Digital HD. I just got a 200 gig HD but when I went to the WD site I could not find. I also searched for just Big drive enablers and most of the ones I found were for Maxtor and none for WD.

Does anyone know where I can get one for WD or is the Maxtor one ok to use?? links would be greatly appriciated :)

It doesn't matter which you use, they just change a registry setting. Just make sure your bios supports large harddrive (48bit LBA i think) before you do it. the big drive enalber is useless if your bios doesn't support it.

Also make sure you have at least SP1 installed for WinXP.
