Mp3 player won't play wma files

Just got one of those memory sticks that plays mp3's. It says on it that it plays .wma files as well. You can copy them across and it recognises them by name but when it goes to play them it says 'file error'. When copying the music across it says encrypted data lost, i assume thats the problem, so does anyone know if…
