    Tools - Accounts - Add - Mail....fill in blanks...
Your incoming mail sever is POP3
    Your incoming mail is mail2.eircom.net
    Your outgoing mail is mail2.eircom.net
Fill in the rest of the blanks

outlook isn't free software and if you start asking for it here in the wrong way people will get upset with you and start whipping out their warez monkey cards and then you'll be in real trouble. ;)

if you just want to download your email onto your pc then outlook express is all you'll need. outlook is a PIM (personal information manager) and is designed for serious office use not just collecting your mail.

outlook express is already installed on your pc and will do more than enough for your needs. start > programs > outlook express. you set it up the same way you would with outlook. there's a wizard and everything.

    Use "Outlook Express"?

Or if that's against your religion try Mozilla's "Firebird".

    They're both free and idiot-proof.
