Sky Digital Schedule + 1 Week???

Can anyone explain to me why the sky digital channels can only present a schedule up to 1 week in advance? I mean - you can get magazines which show you what's on for the month, but yet its not possible to program anything (from a sky+ perspective) to record unless its in the next calender week (or it's a series link).…

I'd say it's space, when NTL added channels a while back they cut the 7-day epg to a crappy 3-day one.
