SLASH’s “ultimate compilation guitar mix CD”, revealed in the November issue of Britain’s Q magazine.

Tracks that would ultimately appear on Slash’s “ultimate compilation” include: JIMI HENDRIX - ‘Machine Gun’, LED ZEPPELIN - ‘No Quarter’, AEROSMITH - ‘Nobody's Fault’, AEROSMITH/RUN DMC - ‘Walk This Way’, JEFF BECK - ‘Cause We've Ended As Lovers’, ‘I Ain't Superstitious’ and ‘Rock My Plimsoul’, JIMI HENDRIX - ‘Purple Haze’ and ‘All Along The Watchtower’, VAN HALEN - ‘Runnin' With The Devil’, CHEAP TRICK - ‘Gonna Raise Hell’, ERIC CLAPTON - ‘Cocaine’, DEREK & THE DOMINOES - ‘Layla’, GARY MOORE - ‘Shapes Of Things’, UFO - ‘Rock Bottom’ (Live), SCORPIONS - ‘Fly To The Rainbow’, BB KING - ‘The Thrill Is Gone’, CHUCK BERRY - ‘Johnny B Goode’, DEEP PURPLE - ‘Burn’ and RORY GALLAGHER - ‘Wheels Within Wheels’.

Nice to see Rory in there with the heavyweights where he belongs
