TV-out not taking up full TV screen?

Have TV out on my laptop. The card in it is a Twister-K onboard chip (based on Savage4 chipset). The operating system is Windows XP SP2 and I'm running the latest Twister drivers from the savage website. My problem is that the TV-out display doesn't take up the full TV screen, it leaves about a 1/2 inch black border all the way round. There's a control panel option to move the display around so that there's say no border on top, inch border on bottom but nothing to enlarge. Anyone got any ideas?

Is there any Overscan options for either your TV or graphics card ? A tv signal generally has a bit of picture that doesn't get shown known as overscan, so maybe either your TV is attempting to compensate for this in a signal that doesn't have it (I think some TVs do that) or else you graphics card needs to generate a signal with overscan. Can you try it with a different TV ?
